• Built:- 1967 to 1971
• Total Production:- 290
• In service:- Late 1960s to 1997
• Main Armament:- Bofors 105mm L74 rifled gun
• Although turretless, the Strv103, or S-Tank, as it is commonly known, is classed as a tank and not an assault gun/tank destroyer because how it was intended to be used. The main gun is fixed to the hull and is aimed using the tracks and main hull suspension. It was the main Swedish tank throughout its time in service.
• This example is on display in what is best known as Hall 6 of the Kubinka Tank Museum, although its official title is now Pavilion 6 in Area 2 of the Park Patriot museum.
