• In the distance (at left) is Hammerstein's Victoria Theatre, on the northwest corner of 42nd Street and 7th Avenue, and (further left), the Hermitage Hotel, on the west side of 7th Avenue between 41st Street and 42nd Street. Still further left, a rooftop sign reads, "Hotel Navarre".
