GIGANTICKÁ Fotografie + Description: Diane's Garden is lined with retaining walls and terraces. The decoration is based on eight grass triangles, which are adorned with volutes of santolinas of a total length of 3 000 meters

• In the very centre of Diane's Garden, "Le Jardin de Diane", is the garden's original fountain.
• The flower beds themselves are planted twice a year with 30 000 to 32 000 plants for each planting:
• 1. The spring plantings: yellow Viola pansies and blue, white roses depending on the decorative theme, daisies, pink or white bellis perennises and their bulbs ; daffodils and mysosotises. 2. The summer plantings: petunias, tobacco, lilliput dahlias, patiences, verveine, or more begonias.
• Château de Chenonceau spans the River Cher, near the small village of Chenonceaux. It is one of the most well-known châteaux of the Loire valley. The current château was built in 1514-1522 on the foundations of an old mill and was later extended to span the river. The bridge over the river was built between 1556-1559.
• The original château was torched in 1412 by King Charles VII to punish owner Jean Marques for supporting the Duke of Bourgogne and the English.
